Transportation

3D Geomatics provides services to the transportation industry in the form of topographic surveys, slide, rock fall and erosion surveys, bridge site plans and bridge surveys. Some of our clients include BC Ministry of Transportation and Infrastructure (MoTI), municipalities, engineering and construction firms.

Engineering

For decades, engineering support survey and mapping services have been a significant part of 3D’s operation. Some of the services offered by 3D include site survey control, slide, erosion and deformation monitoring, topographic surveys, infrastructure layout, hydrographic mapping, bridge site surveys, utility layout and right-of-way surveys, volumetric surveys and 3D laser scanning.

 

Construction

3D offers building, civil and development surveying throughout all facets of construction, from pre-design to completion. Our services include topographic surveys and plan preparation, road and highway surveys, construction layout of buildings, facilities and utilities, as well as project quality management (QA/QC) services.

Environmental

3D offers survey and mapping services to help with environmental assessment including rock fall, slide and erosion surveys, right-of-way management, environmentally sensitive land management, water body and shore definition and other environmental situations. 3D also participates in clean energy solution projects such as run-of-river hydro, wind farm and solar surveys throughout BC.
