First Nations Statement & Policy

3D Geomatics/3D Land Surveying is a partnership of two partially First-Nation owned companies. We recognize that development can impact the land, lives and interests of Indigenous Peoples and we are committed to increasing Indigenous participation in our projects. 

 When engaging with Indigenous workers, businesses, and contractors, we will be mindful, respectful, and understanding of Indigenous Peoples’ cultural and economic interests and how our projects can change the landscape of their traditional lands. 

In the spirit of reconciliation, 3D Geomatics / 3D Land Surveying has identified the following principles to follow while working with and for Indigenous Peoples.

·         seek to build respectful and meaningful relationships with Indigenous Peoples and strive to increase Indigenous inclusion in our workforce and participation on our projects.

·         respect that Indigenous Peoples are the inherent rightsholders over their territories, and as such have a deep and profound connection to their lands and waters since time immemorial.

·         recognize that each Indigenous community has unique histories, distinct cultures, values, languages, traditions, and interests. 

·         understand that Indigenous Peoples seek to build capacity within their communities and participate in economic activities and projects that affect their traditional lands.

·         commit to support capacity development in regard to our work and projects.

·         support Indigenous candidates seeking employment by developing fair and equitable access to our workforce and providing meaningful opportunities for skills training and career advancement.

 

Services

Alongside the comprehensive range of civil surveying capabilities and decades of experience to go with it (including topographic surveys, volumetric surveys, survey control, utility surveys, site surveys, bridge surveys, hydrographic surveys and right of way surveys) 3D Geomatics / Land Surveying also has the capability to provide all the required surveys in all areas of development and legal land surveys, (including subdivisions, right of ways, easements, condominiums, boundary marking, building location certificates and leases).
