Machine Control Support

3D offers advanced systems support services to help civil contractors manage earthworks and transportation projects using machine control guidance systems.

Support services include:

  • Data Preparation – Creating surface models, alignments, linework and point data up loadable files from CAD files

  • Control Surveys – Establishment and verification of site-specific control

  • Layout - Of structures including those that may require a higher level of precision using advanced geomatics engineering practices

  • Quality Assurance – As-built or final surveys to verify correct layout or placement of project structures

  • Data Management - Manage what data is needed, when it was sent to client, what format is required, QA/QC of data whether or not it was provided by 3D or others and updating project revisions

  • Technical Support - Technical support for machine control technology, software and survey practices, via field visits or remotely.
