Commercial Marine Vessel 3D Scan and Model

Project Description:

3D was tasked with providing an accurate 3D as-built model of a commercial marine vessel. Located at a dry dock in Campbell River, we performed a 3D laser scan of the vessel’s hull, deck and superstructure. A digital 3D model of the vessel was created from the laser scan data which was then used by the naval architect to perform stability analysis.
